We aim to remain available as much as possible during the COVID-19 coronavirus crisis, with some modifications to how we would normally operate, including that we will switch to being open during normal hours but by appointment only for the foreseeable future.
- Phone and video appointments will be preferred over face to face meetings.
- For documents that need to be witnessed (e.g. Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Advance Care Directives) we will try to accommodate clients’ preferences as to whether those appointments still occur at our office, where circumstances permit. Any such appointments will be kept short and spaced out in order to minimise opportunities for disease transmission.
- Clients will be given instructions on how documents can be signed elsewhere, even for clients who prefer to come in to our office, as a precaution in case we have to isolate for any reason.
- We will not be conducting home visits or hospital visits for the time being. If there is a lock-down/shutdown in Adelaide and legal services are excluded as essential services, then after the first 14 days we may consider home visits and hospital visits on a case by case basis.
